Short version: Volero collects nothing.

What stays on your devices

Your Mac's screen, sound, your input, clipboard, files and chat messages travel directly between your own devices over an end-to-end encrypted connection. They never pass through our servers, because we don't run any.

What we store

Only on your devices: your settings, the list of Macs you've connected to, and access codes, which are kept in your iCloud Keychain so your own devices can reuse them. We can't read any of it.

Analytics, tracking and ads

None. Volero contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and doesn't track you across apps or websites.

Permissions

Volero Host asks macOS for Screen Recording (to share your screen) and Accessibility (to carry out the clicks and keystrokes you send). Volero asks for Local Network access to find your Macs, and Camera access only if you scan a pairing QR code.
