About Volero

Short (25 words)

Volero is a private remote desktop for Mac. Control your Mac from iPhone, iPad, Vision Pro or Apple Watch — encrypted, device to device, with no account.

Long (100 words)

Volero puts your Mac on every Apple device you own. Open it on iPhone, iPad, Apple Vision Pro, Apple TV or another Mac and you're looking at your Mac's screen, with its sound, files and clipboard, at up to 120 frames per second and in HDR. Every session is end-to-end, post-quantum encrypted and goes straight between your devices; there's no Volero account and no Volero session server. It's built only from Apple's own frameworks, so it feels native everywhere — including Live Text on your Mac's screen, Siri and Shortcuts, Live Activities and a real Apple Watch app. Free for personal use.

What makes it different

  • Post-quantum encryption — a first for remote desktop apps.
  • No account, no relay in the middle — your own iCloud finds your Macs; the picture goes device to device.
  • Every Apple device — a native app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, Apple TV and Apple Watch.
  • Precise on a phone — Trackpad mode turns the iPhone screen into a Mac trackpad.
  • Text on Screen — select, copy, translate or look up anything the Mac shows, with Apple's Live Text.
  • Free for people — controlling your own Macs costs nothing.

Using the name

  • Write Volero — one word, capital V. Not VOLERO or volero in a sentence.
  • The Mac app is Volero Host. The app on your iPhone, iPad and other devices is Volero.
  • Keep the icon's shape and colours as they are. Leave space around it of at least a quarter of its width.
  • Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Vision Pro, Apple TV and Apple Watch are trademarks of Apple Inc. Volero is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple.
