Volero began with a simple frustration: every way to reach your own Mac from your phone wanted an account, a subscription, and a company server sitting in the middle of your screen.
The problem with "remote desktop"
Remote access became big business, and the products show it: sign-ups, seats, agents phoning home, and your live screen relayed through servers you'll never see. For controlling your own Mac from your own iPhone, that's a lot of other people in the room.
A different approach
Volero connects your devices directly — device to device — over an end-to-end, post-quantum encrypted channel. There's no Volero account, and there are no Volero servers relaying your session, because we don't run any. Your Mac's owner approves each device once, and that's it.
Because it's built entirely on Apple's own frameworks — ScreenCaptureKit, VideoToolbox, Network.framework, CryptoKit — it's fast, light on battery, and feels native on iPhone, iPad, Apple Vision Pro, Apple Watch and Mac. No cross-platform lowest common denominator; just the best possible Apple experience.
