Delete your Volero data

Short version: the Volero apps have no user accounts, so there is no account to delete. Deleting the app removes its data. If you use the Volero business portal, email us and we will delete your organisation.

The Volero apps

You do not sign up for Volero. Devices pair with a one-time code, and the keys that let a device reconnect are kept on the device itself. We do not hold a copy.

To delete your data:

  1. Remove your saved computers in the Volero app, or on the computer press New code in Volero Host so old pairings stop working.
  2. Uninstall Volero from the device. This deletes its pairing keys, saved computers and settings on that device straight away.
  3. On Apple devices, codes you chose to keep in iCloud Keychain, and the private iCloud list of your Macs, belong to your Apple account. Delete them in your iCloud settings, or sign out of iCloud on the device.

Session recordings you made are saved on your own device. Delete them there.

The business portal

If your organisation uses the Volero business portal, the portal account owner can ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in with, and include your organisation’s name.

We will delete:

  • your organisation and its settings
  • its staff members and their sign-in email addresses
  • its enrolled devices and their records
  • its access policies and audit log

We confirm the request by email and delete everything within 30 days, then email you to say it is done. We keep nothing afterwards, except anything the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, which we keep only for as long as required. App Store subscriptions are managed by Apple: cancel them in your Apple Account settings.

Delete some data, not everything

To remove one person or one device from your organisation without deleting the rest, remove them in the business portal, or email us and we will do it for you.
